Combining a love for our Central Texas environment with creative conscientious home and buisness landscape design

Coming from a conservation biology background and past career in environmental consulting and endangered species habitat restoration and management, I have combined my creative passion with my love for the native land and environment. I specialize in creating landscape plans for home and business that utilize native and adaptive plants appropiate for the specific site/project . I have over 24 years experience in working with Central Texas landscapes and gardens, and over 35 years experience in gardening and landscaping. I have volunteered my time and skills with the Travis County Balcones Canyonlands Preserve and assisted in creating a native plant garden for visitors at the Snowden House. I am a Master Naturalist and worked with the Trinity River Interpretive Center, The Nature Conservancy, Audubon Society, Travis County and LCRA Balcones Canyonlands Preserve, and Wild Basin Wilderness Preserve.
I have experience with xeriscaping; planning hardscape elements such as pathways, arbors, water features, pergolas, decking and patios; landscaping around pools; edible gardens; and designing for pollinators, birds, wildlife, and monarch butterflies. I truly love what I do and strive to make landscapes that are low maintenance and once established take care of itself so you can enjoy it.

I work with other local business to provide you with the labor, tools and the best plants to make your landscape ideas become a reality. Already have a gardener to do the heavy lifting or want to do that yourself? I can create a Landscape plan for your project that you can install yourself.
